Blockchain Challenge:

Come create solutions to unsolved problems in Insurance, GovTech, Energy, Healthcare, IoT, Supply Chain Management, and many other industries. Explore the possible use cases with the objective of building a utopian city-state that leverages the Blockchain as its infrastructure.

FinTech Challenge:

Do you have a desire to build better FinTech and financial services solutions?  If so, this is the hackathon for you.

The purpose of this challenge is to create financial solutions that solve both consumer, bank and financial institution problems. Here are some potential ideas to work on:

  • Consumer savings app
  • Bitcoin wallet
  • Cross boarder money transfer
  • Big data solutions for financial institutions
  • Onboarding software for community banks

Eligibility

• No minimum skill level is require but novice Blockchain developers are encouraged to attend:  FinTech Week: Blockchain Workshop.

• Student developers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Team must present a final project to be considered for prizes.

 

 

Requirements

 Individuals and Teams are required to post Entries on . 

  ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Source code of calling the sponsor APIs as part of the software application
  2. Presentation used for pitching solution during judging
  3. Active URL if a browser-based app is deployed as part of the software application
  4. (Links to) Supplemental photos and video 

Submissions and oral presentation of Submission will be judged by a panel of judges based upon the following equally weighed criteria: (1) Originality of Idea; (2) Ability to clearly articulate the details of the application (3) Technologies used in its creation (4) Potential commercial viability
